We’re ecstatic to share fantastic news about ten exceptional interns who have successfully passed their first AWS certification exam and are now AWS Certified Cloud Practitioners!

- Keziah Harvey
Keziah is a passionate explorer at heart, who is always eager to learn and discover new things. Her love for R&B and Amapiano keeps her spirits high, while romance movies provide the perfect escape. She has a deep affection for children, and aspires to travel the world, embracing different cultures along the way. With dreams of entering the modelling industry, she believes that every step she takes brings her closer to her goals.
- Tatum Williams
Tatum is absolutely captivated by Turkish culture, language, and music. In her free time, she can be found jamming out to her favourite Turkish artists, binge-watching Turkish series, and diving into the language. Her big dream is to live in Turkey and explore the vibrant city of Istanbul. Until then, she is on a journey of discovery, embracing every moment with excitement and joy.
- Roshieg Williams
Born and raised in Cape Town, Roshieg comes from a quiet part of Lotus River. He loves animals and has his own tuxedo cat who is nearly 10 years old. He spends most of his time at home, either playing video games, watching psychological thrillers, or reading about topics like outer space. Roshieg also writes poetry when he has the time and plans to publish his own book someday.
- Tohierah Van wyk
Growing up in an environment where learning was a gradual passion, Tohierah was inspired by her mother’s enthusiasm for technology. Driven by that early inspiration, she now immerses herself in tech, devouring science fiction books, hiking to satisfy her desire for adventure, and thriving in hackathons. She also enjoys jamming to Alternative Indie music.
- Tyreeq Bezuidenhout
In his time on the internship Tyreeq has developed a strong passion for cloud computing. He runs a successful tutoring business for students of all ages and enjoys helping them achieve their academic goals. Additionally, he is involved in graphic design, learning Python and Linux, and is enthusiastic about leadership and team building. Tyreeq is always seeking opportunities to grow and make a positive impact.
- Khazimla Soshebe
Khazimla is dedicated to bridging the resource gap that many communities face through education. With a deep passion for technology and its transformative impact on daily life, she aims to empower individuals by imparting essential digital skills. Her recent accomplishment in achieving the certification has bolstered her confidence in her ability to educate and inspire, helping others navigate and benefit from the digital world to enhance their overall quality of life.
- Ronwyn Williams
Ronwyn is a hardworking and innovative young professional from Mitchell’s Plain, in the Cape Flats. known for her goofy sense of humour and zest for life. Her love for philosophy and geography fuels her curiosity about the world, while her family-oriented values keep her connected and grounded. A passionate foodie, Ronwyn delights in exploring new flavours and culinary experiences. Her vibrant personality and eagerness for new adventures make her a dynamic presence both personally and professionally.
- Cashel Van Der Meulen
Cashel has a deep passion for both gaming and music. Playing games and listening to music daily helps him stay calm and focused, providing a perfect balance to his routine. Beyond these hobbies, Cashel has a strong enthusiasm for learning and discovering new things, which he finds incredibly stimulating. Whether it’s exploring new topics, acquiring new skills, or delving into different fields of knowledge, he is always eager to expand his horizons and embrace fresh challenges.
- Maahir Campbell
Maahir is a 19 year old intern from Lentegeur in Mitchell’s Plain who is dedicated to expanding his skills and seizing new learning opportunities. As an outdoor enthusiast, Maahir enjoys playing football as a way to stay active. When he’s not on the field, he unwinds by playing video games and cherishes moments spent with his family.
- Phumzile Ncapayi
Phumzile, from Langa, has a strong passion for technology and the possibilities it offers for himself and his community. This drive fueled his interest and ambition to pursue the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. Since earning this certification, Phumzile hopes to boost his skills in cloud technologies, believing that it will help him come up with new solutions and tackle different challenges. He’s excited about using what he’s learned to make a positive impact on the local tech scene.
As our interns transition to preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam, they’ll be diving into more complex topics, including designing resilient architectures, implementing security controls, and optimising performance.
