Today another milestone for one of the Innovation Incubator and Accelerator social enterprises (Cinemo) were achieved when it reached more than 150,000 users since its soft launch on Mxit 10 weeks ago. This highlights the desire and need for the consumption of media in Africa. With more than 140 Million people with access to the Internet via their mobile phones it is proving to be an attractive channel for Africans who is hungry for more local online entertainment content as reported on CNN Online.
We want to congratulate the Cinemo team on achieving this milestone as they prepare for their second movie release titled “Dear Sister”.
