One of our first Community Start-up companies, JamiiX, that was developed on the Cape Flats received its first external investment from South Africa – Finland knowledge partnership on ICT (SAFIPA) who provided $192,000 in seed funding. With this investment JamiiX will be able to expand its markets, further develop and refine the platform providing management of conversations via Social Networks and Instant Messengers. Although still in its BETA release JamiiX is already servicing more than 40,000 end users through its various eXchange Services.

JamiiX will have its next launch in London, United Kingdom with its hosts and our partners Nimbus Consulting and you can register to attend this event here. We will continue bringing updates on the development of JamiiX as this is one example of the many innovations being incubated at RLabs.
