In celebration of our National heritage the 24th September South Africans will unite and spend the day with their families. This occasion is normally spent around a fire and having a Braai.
This morning Jan Braai heats things up as he attempts to break a Guinness World Record by braaing for the longest officially recorded time ever. This event takes place at the V&A Waterfront amphitheatre in Cape Town over the next two days. We invite to join in the fun and support Jan Braai a man who is passionate about Braai4Heritage

Today the Official Braai record have been broken and Jan Braai became a South African Legend. Jan Braai who attempted the longest Braai has succeeded and will now always be known as the man who brought it back home as South Africa now holds the record for the longest Braai in history!
