Design plays an integral part in planning and all elements within an event are enhanced by design to create a memorable event. Our Events Management Principles participants ventured into the creation and conceptual development and design of an event on Saturday.
We gave the each group a different theme which included:
Christmas dinner
Beach party
Vintage wedding
Kiddie’s party
The teams had a week to plan and the focus was to work on the design elements of an event.

We had a very creative morning as the participants went as far as brining live golden fish and real beach sand into the session. The objective that the design is what enables one event experience to be different the other was met. We felt a bit sad to break down the awesome sets the groups built up.
