Over the last 3 years RLabs have been providing counseling support services to over a million users via mobile phones (majority via MXit chat). With a continuous demand for social support services beyond just mobile phone chat, RLabs have teamed up with JamiiX to launch its support services via Facebook. The opportunity to extend its counseling services to Facebook is an exciting move by RLabs to continue its global reach in empowering citizens through the use of technology.
The Facebook conversations will be served via JamiiX and the end users will connect to its users via a Facebook application. All conversations will be anonymous and this pilot project is the first of its kind in South Africa.
