On Thursday 16 May RLabs was invited to the Science and Technology Exhibition at the Iziko SA Museum.
BMW SA and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) committed to the Education of our young people had decide to collaborate and bring Education and cars together as BMW had donated five BMW 3 series to supported the DST.
RLabs had the opportunity to be part of the event on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May 2013 where the Minister of Science and Technology had mentioned RLabs in his speechin parliament 16 May and had the following to say…
“Honourable Members, our successful partnership with the government of Finland continues to strengthen our innovation community project established in 2008 by Marlon Parker, whose dream was to find a way using information and communication technology to bring hope to young people”
Friday 17May RLabs Founder, Marlon Parker was interviewed by Sindy Mabe on the E.tv Breakfast show, Speaking about RLabs and how RLabs had help people in the community and instilled hope into people lives, also the service that RLabs offers to communities. Later that day Marlon Parker was interviewed by the late Vuyo Mbuli presenter of the Sabc2 Morning Live show, where Mr Parker had shared more of the RLabs story.
