Today we did a presentation at the SAFIPA ICT and Mobile Business Building Programme. The presentation was presented by Rene Parker on behalf of RLabs and the topic presented was titled: The Mobile Revolution: Rise of the Mobile Phone. See presentation below.
There were approximately 55 attendees and they were participants of the Technology and Business Skills Capacity Building Programme for SMME’s and other relevant role players in the ICT and Mobile Sector hosted by SAFIPA.
The module presented today included:
– Levels of networking
– Online networking: Social Media
– Open Innocation, the SA Solution Exchange and Crowd Sourcing
– Partnering opportunities for SMME’s with larger ICT companies/ service providers
A few outcomes of the session included: case studies where success stories of networking in the ICT mobility industry that lead to collaboration and real time business growth locally, solution seekers and solution providers were connected, an overview of open innovation principles was shared and open innovation opportunities in South Africa were brought to the table.
The overall sense of the day was that the speakers all contributed relevant and important information along with invaluable experience.
