RLabs is proud to partner with Strengthen our Society (SOS) offering Social and Digital Media training to non-profits and community organisations between the 13th and 15th April. SOS is a joint initiative of Remgro and the Greater Stellenbosch Development Trust. SOS was created to assist selected community organisations and aims to strengthen and build the managerial capacity of social organisations through a variety of interventions such as courses, seminars and corporate volunteering, thus enabling them to concentrate on their core function; to help those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. The partnership over the last 3 years has seen more than 30 organisations benefiting from training and leveraging the power of Social Media.
The training will not only show organisations how they able to maximize social and digital media as part of their strategy but will also introduce the possible use of mobile and other Internet technologies to serve the beneficiaries of these NGOs. This partnership is made possible by the support from Remgro.
