UCLA Anderson EMBA Students Dive into Innovation and Impact at RLabs
RLabs had the exciting opportunity to host Executive MBA (EMBA) students from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management. The visit was filled with interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and an inspiring exchange of ideas, showcasing RLabs’ cutting-edge work in social impact and innovation.
The day kicked off with an engaging tour of RLabs and the RLabs House, offering the UCLA Anderson EMBA students a behind-the-scenes look at our innovative spaces. They got to experience firsthand how RLabs fosters an environment of creativity, entrepreneurship, and social change.
A key highlight of the visit was an inspiring talk from Zlto CEO, Allan van de Muelen, who shared RLabs’ story of HOPE and how the organization is transforming communities through social innovation. This powerful narrative resonated deeply with the students, setting the tone for a day full of learning and collaboration.
In a fun and interactive session, the EMBA students were divided into groups, each tasked with tackling a real-world challenge involving RLabs innovations. Armed with Legos, they built creative models that represented their vision for the future of these innovations. This hands-on activity brought fresh perspectives and highlighted the importance of collaboration and creativity in problem-solving.
The day wrapped up with a powerful talk from RLabs founder, Marlon Parker, who shared the incredible journey of RLabs and its mission to create social impact on a global scale. The students were captivated by the story of how RLabs has evolved into a leading force in innovation, education, and community empowerment.
One of the standout aspects of the day was the dynamic exchange of knowledge and ideas between the UCLA Anderson students and RLabs champions. This vibrant collaboration reinforced the strong relationship between RLabs and UCLA, particularly with Professor Gayle at the helm of these ongoing partnerships.
These meaningful interactions not only provided valuable insights to the visiting students but also inspired our RLabs champions to continue pushing the boundaries of social impact and innovation.
We were thrilled to host the UCLA Anderson EMBA students, and their enthusiasm and participation brought immense value to the RLabs community. As we continue to build bridges across communities, we look forward to more such collaborations that inspire inclusive and impactful innovation.
