Virtual Incubation Program x Silulo Foundation

In the Virtual Incubation Program (VIP), women entrepreneurs are guided through seven modules focused on helping them develop all the key aspects of their businesses. Upon completing the program, they are invited to pitch for investment at our Pitch Night event.

The purpose of VIP is to guide women entrepreneurs through different areas of their businesses, encourage them to discuss their goals and help them navigate the path to achieving them. Each day, participants complete various tasks using templates, presentations, and videos, with the support of our facilitators.

On April 20, 2024, we hosted the EntrepreNXT event, in partnership with the Silulo Foundation, marking the official union between Silulo and RLabs.

Silulo Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to community development and entrepreneurship based in Khayelitsha, collaborates with RLabs to unite aspiring entrepreneurs in underserved communities through innovation and entrepreneurship, aiming to grow social capital across our communities.

RLabs Women’s first Virtual Incubation Program of the year took place in May 2024. Each cohort we run is unique, and this one was special because it included entrepreneurs from the Silulo Foundation.

This came with extreme excitement because within just one week of launching EntrepreNXT, we could collaborate with Silulo Foundation on one of our programs. Take a look below to learn more about the latest cohort of women-led businesses.
