Video Blogging, sometimes shortened to vlogging or vidding is gaining a huge following on the internet and was the hot topic of the night at the Reconstructed session. The session was well attended and the room was filled with excitement as everybody was waiting forAslam Levy, one of the SA Blog Awards finalists to share his knowledge on the subject.
It was evident Aslam is passionate about seeing peoples lives being reconstructed and changed as he shared some interesting thoughts about how youtube can be used to give people a voice in communities on the Cape Flats. By the end of Aslam’s presentation the group knew what a youtube channel was and that vids on these channels can be pulled to and viewed on a blog. Armed with all this new information the group were itching to jump in and get there favourite vids from youtube and embed them on The Reconstructed Blog.
